Brittany Thompson

Born and raised in Burbank, California, Brittany's passion for athletics began at the very young age of 6, when she played on very her first soccer team. A couple years later, a star was born when she sang at her elementary school talent show. Over the next 10 years, Brittany would excel as both an athlete and performer participating in AYSO, show choir, musical theatre, acting, and cheerleading. Although pursuing other avenues professionally, Brittany maintained an active lifestyle regularly participating in sports and performing as hobbies. But her professional life took a very unexpected turn after she completed her first spin class.

From the very first indoor cycling class she ever took, Brittany knew she had found something special. With her body type being on the "curvier" side, Brittany has always had to work very hard to maintain a healthy body weight, fluctuating frequently. Switching between hiking, running, and circuit training, Brittany struggled to find a cardio based workout that she could commit to regularly and wholeheartedly. It wasn't until she tried cycling, that she began to enjoy her workouts, to the point of looking forward to them, and within 3 months of her first ride, she had lost 15 pounds! Brittany has since opened her very own spin studio where she has lead over 1,000 classes over the past 5 years, and personaly trained 8 instructors to join her team . In 2017, Brittany was voted one of the Top Spin Instructors in Los Angeles by Classpass. Most recently, Brittany has ventured out on her own to create her new company, VIBE Ride, LLC. Brittany's love for cycling combined with her background in singing, dancing and performing creates a fun and free environment that feels more like a party, and less like a workout!

"My idea for VIBE Ride came to me over quarantine, while my studio was shut down and I was teaching classes exclusively online. During that time, I found a way to continue to create exciting, challenging and emotionally moving rides despite the fact that I was teaching to a camera in an empty room. It was then that I realized how important the "vibe" of of a spin class actually is. In my opionion, music is one of the most powerful tools we have, and I was able to create and change the vibe of my ride simply with the music choices and construction of my playlist. With each and every ride that I teach, I strive to fuse my love of spin with my passion for music and performing to create a unique and exhilarating fitness experience for riders of all levels. Cycling has changed my mind and body in a way I never knew possible, and I hope I am able to provide the same experience for all of my clients. One thing I know for sure is that it will work if you work it!"
